Sometimes the bank gets a property that is distressed and needs to be taken care of. Dependent on certain conditions, the bank will take the appropriate action in taking care of this property whether that is by auction or sale. This also depends on what kind of condition the property is in as to what action is taken in regards to the bank distress property in question. This can be a bargain hunter’s bonanza or a white elephant. Take your pick. Every time that you go to an auction, you run the risk of getting stuck with a white elephant instead of a hidden treasure.

Or it may mean a lot of bumps and bruises depending on the property. It also means run down houses, cars boats, ATV, Jet Ski and anything else. Distressed property has seen some wear and tear on them. Again, this all dependant on what type of property the bank is actually selling at this auction.

You will get a chance to look at all merchandise before you buy, but again, buyer beware! When you are dealing with distressed property, you really do not know what you are going to get as far as the condition of the property in question. This can be exciting or frustrating depending on what you are looking for. Remember, there are no guarantees on any merchandise that is distressed. You will want to take that into consideration when preparing your bids.

There are so many things, but yet you still have to be careful when it comes to the bank distress auctions because you really can’t tell sometimes what type of condition something is really in. So you go at your own peril. That is a risk that you take when buying distressed goods from a bank. Sometimes they have no way of knowing the exact true condition of any object until they see it up close and even then, no guarantee. You take your chances at this type of auction.
