The amount of damage is sometimes minimal in a distress home property, but there is that type of property that would better be served as firewood, if it is in regards to a house. When you see a house that is for sale with the title of Bank Distressed, it means that a bank has some abused property that it needs to sell for whatever reason. The sale will be announced in the legal section of the newspaper and the terms and conditions of said sale. Everything in between the two extremes will be also sold at the bank distressed sale. This means anything that you could possibly think of.

Bank Distressed also means that certain property will be sold as distressed due to either visible or cosmetic damage to any property that is listed for sale. This is at the bank’s discretion. However, when they say distressed, they MEAN distressed. A wrecked ATV is an extreme example. But not everything will have that type of damage done to it. Bank distressed usually has a long list of items that need to be sold to fulfill mortgages, taxes, estate taxes, to rezone property, to fulfill any liens against said property. It could also be surplus that the bank has, and needs to get rid of quickly.

There are many bank distressed real estate properties are for sale in nearly every city, state and country in the world. The process is much the same anywhere that you go in the world. So this is not a phenomenon that is associated with America totally. Every year, people can’t afford to pay mortgages, taxes or anything else in regards to the property that is being sold at auction. Each property has gone through a thorough examination before the sale date to assure quality. On the day of the sale, the items will be auctioned off according to the taxes; lien or whatever is owed on the property in question.

Sometimes our curiosity is rewarded positively, other times negatively. This is to be expected. Bank distressed sales are nothing new and quite the crowd gathers when a sale is announced. This is just human nature and we humans are a curious bunch
