Articles about Foreclosure Solution
With the financial crisis accelerating and no signs of recession receding in America, the call of the hour is finding foreclosure solutions that work. There have been foreclosure solutions pouring in galore with experts vying with each other to offer the best but so far the market has remained stubborn and immune to all overtures.
The initial approach to foreclosure solutions was to shore up the financial institutions that had started collapsing like ninepins. It is these bodies that have perpetrated the crisis by flooding the market with sub-prime loans given to borrowers not qualified for these. When the borrowers failed to meet mortgage commitments, thousands and in fact millions went into foreclosure causing an unprecedented financial crisis that has spilled over to the rest of the world. These banks were given money by the Federal Reserve so as to enable them to start lending again and allow the frozen credit market to thaw. But the banks being cautious took the money but hardly went about lending. They sat on it or gave bonuses and remained as secretive as banks are wont to do.
The key to foreclosure solution, according to many, lay in the reducing of the mortgage rates and principal of the borrowers. This angle to foreclosure solutions was not given top priority. As a result a handful benefited. It had no impact on the general market.
The foreclosure solution of modifying and refinancing mortgages was dependent on the voluntary efforts of the lenders. Sadly this was noticeably missing. It is hoped that since the carrot has not worked the stick of the changes in bankruptcy laws will deliver the goods and be the best of the foreclosure solutions.
