The Mortgage Assistance Programs
November 27th, 2009
While for many this is an action that was not needed, since people can take care of their own health and stop going to the doctor for any “mild” problem that can be sorted out by over-the-counter medication, they fail to see that even for such actions, they do require financial funds to purchase the medications.
When the household income has to be diverted on a 70% in paying a mortgage loan, it is hard to be able to buy even generic medications let alone food and other supplies that are also necessary for the survival of the family. With the mortgage assistance programs, the family will be able to keep the mortgage payments both on time and in the right amount though they will have to keep paying for a longer time; but that will allow them to provide for the needs of the family with a lot more ease.
So, it is definitely a great thing that there is a reduction of 4.09% on the foreclosure actions that the lenders in Georgia are taking against those families who are not able to keep their mortgage payments. This means that each time more and more homeowners in such a terrible financial situation are doing what needs to be done to adhere and protect their home.
But the advantage is not only for the homeowner, the lending companies hold a profit as well as the real estate owners who are considering on selling their properties to make a profit. The descent of the foreclosure actions on the state of Georgia has also caused that there is a descent on the price of the property of 0.83%. This might seem chaotic for those owners and lenders who are looking to make a profit out of the sale of the real estate properties, but this descent on the price of these non-movable assets is only temporary.
As homeowners adhere to the mortgage assistance programs, the property prices will start to climb as there is no need for lenders to push on their own properties to make up for all the investment and expenses taken on the foreclosure of this property.
