Articles about Avoid Foreclosures

Since the last few years a foreclosure crisis has been sweeping across America – a tidal wave of tsunami proportions. The thought uppermost on the minds of the people is how to avoid foreclosures. It is not just the borrowers and lenders in the mortgage game that want to avoid foreclosures – but the problem has affected all and sundry directly or indirectly. It has even become a global problem.

The foreclosure is a process (judicial or otherwise depending on the state) by which the lender realizes unpaid dues on mortgages by foreclosing on the house. It has always been part of the mortgage world but lately the staggering number of foreclosures running into millions has brought the problem into focus.

The borrowers want to avoid foreclosures for obvious reasons – they do not want to give up the house that is their home. With so many foreclosures on their inventory the lenders too want to avoid foreclosures. The process is costly and at the end the banks are saddled with vacant houses that require maintenance while waiting to be sold. Considering the mood of the market these houses remain unsold causing a blight on communities. Unsold vacant houses attract crime and disease like magnets. The government and politicians want to avoid foreclosures. With the market becoming stagnant there is a massive loss of revenue. The realtors want to avoid foreclosures because the market is plummeting and even then failing to attract buyers. Starting with a stalemate in the construction business a chain reaction has infected the entire economy resulting in a recession.

With America in recession the entire world is suffering and waiting for the foreclosure crisis to end.
