- Qualifying ratio
- A ratio calculated to determine how much a potential buyer can borrow.
- Queen Anne style
- A Victorian-era style that originated in England during the reign of Queen Anne and was revived in both England and America in the late 19th century.
- Quiet enjoyment
- The right of an owner to use his or her property without interference usually without a the nuisance of a noisy neighbor.
- Quiet title suit
- A lawsuit filed to ascertain the legal rights of an owner to a certain parcel of property.
- Quitclaim deed
- A term used in property law to describe a document by which a person (the "grantor") disclaims any interest the grantor might have in a piece of real property, and passes that claim to another person (the grantee).
- Quoin
- The outer corners of a building, or the rectangular stone block used to form that corner or a wedge, used to support or anchor other items.
