VA Foreclosed Homes are homes that the Veterans Administration usually forecloses on, mostly due to either unpaid taxes, mortgage, or rent. As this is overseen by the Veterans Affairs bureau of the US Government and deals strictly with military personnel and retired military personnel. This is another whole kettle of fish when you deal with this agency and a foreclosure is quite a good bit rougher than the regular foreclosure.

As this deals with the Armed Forces the VA administrates all the loans for houses. VA Foreclosed Homes can be sold to pay the loan or mortgage on the house or property in question. This is done in accordance with military laws and regulations in regards to military personnel housing and the lack of payment thereof. Since this is a major Government branch, there is a different way that this is dealt with. Since the money comes out of each military man and woman that serves, a default on a home is one black mark that they will not be able to get rid of. This also could go on their service record if the VA approves or recommends this course of action.

It isn’t always easy to get base housing and to live off base sometimes takes two paychecks. Sometimes even that isn’t enough to get you out of financial trouble. VA Foreclosed Homes are usually military style housing either on base or off base. This is dependent upon if you are single or not, if you are in training or not, and what your pay per month is. It takes a lot for a military couple to make it even if one is in the military and one is not. Unfortunately this hasn’t changed in at least 15 years.

The VA forecloses on homes.  With the VA Foreclosed Homes that are lost with alarming regularity,  many people in the Armed Forces are beaten down emotionally. This is becoming more and more common as our military families and couples struggle every week or two weeks to keep a roof over their head and food in their mouths. This is not easy as military pay hasn’t gone up by much in recent years and more and more service personnel are forced to scramble to keep the roof over their heads. Money is stretched so tight that you can see daylight through it. This is a very bad sign for our service men and women. They need our country’s help to help them make it through.

It is very hard when you have a young child under the age of three and you can’t work, because you have no money for a sitter. This trend sees no dissipation in the near future, and that is a crying shame for those who serve our country to be put in this position. VA Foreclosed Homes are becoming the norm lately. It is not fair to them to lose everything while they serve this country of ours. But being a government agency the VA doesn’t see things that way and more and more are losing their homes due to VA foreclosure.
